Description Question: Do you think that there is an ideal space for Shakespeare or that you could adapt? Answer: No there isn't and I never, I just look at the space that I am being asked to do it in and sometimes one is a bit more irritated than others but that's life, that's how it is. I don't think there is an ideal space because it also depends on the nature of the play, you see you can have a very big stage which superficially may seem quite ideal to do theatre on and then the management decides to put a play on there which actually shouldn't be on that stage, it should be on a little stage, but they put this tiny little two hander or three hander on this giant thing and yes it's a great stage and it's quite the wrong stage for the piece, so no.
