Answer: The thing is that everyone talks about design and technology these days. What design is, is nothing to do with any of those things. It's not to do with gismos. You are the same as the writer. You are a man with a HB pencil and a blank piece of paper. The catalyst for what you do is something that some other genius has written, so you go on a track to find your own version of how to present that. But primarily, it's the same thing. It's HB pencil, will travel. And, you know, one's not in the process of flogging modern technology, any kind of anything, other than trying to make a piece or work interesting and vibrant and [traffic noises, car hooting], you know it's got to be as interesting for you as it is for everyone else and that's my final word on the subject. |
