Short Desc Fourth video interview clip with Theatre Designer Shelagh Keegan
Description Question: Do you have difficulty, or do you find it strange moving from one environment to another? Answer: I became accustomed to it. I mean in Wales and working as assistants, I've worked in prosceniums, so it wasn't like I was unfamiliar with it, I just felt happier with always working in the round, it seemed to be the way I naturally wanted to work. When I did work in proscenium I always wanted to give the power of the space to the actor rather than the power of the space to the scenery anyway, so I mean I got labelled I think probably as a minimalist, I hate that term, because I don't, I think I was a truthfalist [laughs]. I would always try and design for the play and rather than take over the play and become what I call a window dresser.
